After starting my career as a journalist, I moved into a long career leading global corporate marketing and communications teams for Global 50 and current or former Fortune 500 companies. I am now a professor of advertising and brand strategy at the University of North Texas and co-lead a full-service marketing and communications agency called Clients First. I write books on the side, and I have now published three. My new novel is called "Julia's Angels: Chasing One Last Chance at Justice Nearly 50 Years Later." I launched the book in September 2025 in conjunction with the 50-year anniversary of the infamous Martha Moxley murder in Greenwich, Conn. That murder is now in the news thanks to the recent debut of a new podcast on Dateline NBC in which Kennedy cousin MIchael Skakel -- who was convicted of the crime in 2002 and whose conviction was vacated in 2018 -- is due to speak on the murder for the first time in many years. I was quoted (twice) as a case expert on the murder in a November 23, 2025 story on Fox News Digital. I am very comfortable with the idea of being a guest on a podcast, as I co-host a twice-monthly (both audio and visual) podcast with my business partner.
