Apurva Garware is the Chief Product Officer at a Bay Area–based AI training company that has raised over $100M and works closely with frontier model builders and Fortune 500 enterprises to bring AI into production. She leads product and design at the intersection of cutting-edge AI capabilities and the messy reality of how large organizations actually work. Her career has been spent building and scaling products at meaningful scale—often in moments of transition, where technology is moving faster than people, processes, and institutions. Today, that tension shows up most clearly in AI. Apurva works with frontier teams pushing the limits of models, while also helping legacy enterprises figure out how to adopt those models responsibly, safely, and in ways their teams can trust. She believes the hardest part of AI isn’t the models—it’s product judgment. Knowing what to build, when to automate, when to slow down, and how to design systems that respect human behavior rather than fight it. Her product philosophy is rooted in customer obsession, fast learning loops, and a deep respect for the people who ultimately have to live with the systems we ship. Outside of work, Apurva is a parent and a longtime advocate for women in technology and education. She brings a grounded, human-first lens to conversations about AI—shaped as much by leadership and family as by technology—and is especially interested in what the rise of AI means for how we work, how we lead, and the world we’re building for the next generation.
