Parenting coach, author of Parenting Beyond Power, and host of Your Parenting Mojo—helping adults tame reactivity and build calmer, more connected families and communities.
I’m a parenting coach, author of Parenting Beyond Power, and host of the Your Parenting Mojo podcast—named best research based parenting podcast by Lifehacker—for a global audience of parents, educators and therapists. My work weaves developmental science, trauma informed practice, and nervous system regulation into practical tools that help adults stay calm, connected, and effective even under stress. I hold an M.S. in Psychology (Child Development) and an M.Ed., and am trained in Co-Active Coaching and neuro-affirming approaches. I offer somatic, cognitive, and relational strategies to manage reactivity, set boundaries, and practice co regulation in family, school, and helping professional contexts. Through my show, courses, and membership, I translate dense research on attachment, psychology, education, and social systems into everyday practices that reduce power struggles, deepen trust, and support children’s autonomy. As a guest, I bring a research oriented yet highly practical voice – we’ll have fun, and I’ll coach you or an audience member live if you like! I’ll share our conversation with my audience and welcome collaborations with podcasts serving parents, educators, clinicians, coaches, and anyone invested in more evidence informed, power conscious approaches to raising and supporting children.
