Tim Smith is the author of Fault Line, a raw and deeply personal memoir about survival, identity, and what it takes to rebuild a life from the ground up. Raised in an environment shaped by addiction, instability, and neglect, he grew up without a clear sense of safety or space to understand himself—especially as a gay man. As an adult, Tim has intentionally built a life defined by stability, love, and authenticity. Now based in Los Angeles with his husband and their four rescue dogs, he writes and speaks about what it means to move beyond survival, integrate the past, and create a life that actually feels like your own.
