I am the author of "Called Out of the Ashes", a memoir born from a very precious marriage to my husband, which led to losses, a loss of faith, but still maintaining resilience, and the often messy process of learning who I really am. After spending more than two decades working in healthcare, I began recognizing truths about myself and the world around me that I could no longer ignore. What began as personal reflection turned into a journey of understanding the hidden patterns, unspoken family lessons, and emotional wounds that quietly influence the way we live our lives. Through my writing, podcast appearances, and conversations with others, I share what I've learned about healing, self-awareness, and the importance of putting names to feelings we were never taught to understand. I believe many of us spend years feeling disconnected from ourselves without realizing where the break in alignment happened. When we learn to identify it, we can begin rebuilding a stronger foundation emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. My work is deeply inspired by my late brother, Nicholas, whose life continues to shape my mission and the vision behind Healing Works Both Ways. I am passionate about helping people recognize that healing is not a destination—it's a relationship with ourselves that evolves throughout our lives. I've had the privilege of being featured on podcasts and sharing my story with audiences who are seeking growth, purpose, and a deeper understanding of themselves. Whether I'm discussing the book or simply sharing lessons I've learned along the way, my goal is to help people feel seen, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change in their own lives.
