I’m Ena Rush, a woman of God, author, ministry leader, entrepreneur, and founder of Teddy’s House. I am the author of One Breath at a Time: Through My Eyes, a personal testimony of faith, family, motherhood, devastating loss, grief, survival, healing, and the God who continues to carry me. I do not speak about grief as a counselor, therapist, or expert. I speak from lived experience and from a journey that is still unfolding. One of the messages I share most often is, “I’m getting through—not I got through.” At the heart of my work is the belief that people need permission to grieve, permission to heal, permission to feel what they need to feel, and the reassurance that they do not have to walk through difficult seasons alone. I also believe faith and pain can exist at the same time—that hurting does not mean a person lacks faith. Through honest conversations, writing, ministry, and storytelling, I hope to create space where people feel seen, heard, and reminded that God is still present even in the middle of what they are walking through. My conversations are rooted in faith, honesty, healing, hope, motherhood, grief, resilience, purpose, and what it means to keep moving one breath at a time.
