Hope this note finds you well. What drove me to write my first book Informally Educated was my growing up in an extremely abusive household. I struggled throughout my childhood as we fought for our lives daily. As he was a minor player in the mob, I lived on borrowed time. He had already told me that as soon as I was a threat, he would kill me and I started being a threat at around ten. Every day I was shocked to still be alive and I was rushing headlong toward my getting old enough for it to come down to him or me. In the end, he pissed the wrong mobster off, and he was shot execution-style in front of me at fourteen. I knew I had to write it, but then I realized I couldn't stop and have written 12 more since this one. This book and a few others were published in the mid-twenties, but my publisher went out of business and took them all down before they had a chance to get going. It has taken me several years to clean up contractual obligations. It is all done now and the books are in the process of being published again. Hey, I got the murder for you, and I can deal with the sarcasm. I'm just starting on a journey that is already 20 years in the making. I just need a little exposure. Hope you have a wonderful day and look forward to speaking to you.
