I'm Melissa Crosson, an artist and fashion designer from the heart of North Carolina. My journey has been a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of passion, perseverance, and a whole lot of color. For years, I poured my soul into my art, showcasing my work in solo exhibits across the state and earning recognition for my unique vision. Becoming the first artist from Catawba County to be selected for the ArtPop Street Gallery program was a pivotal moment, propelling my work onto billboards and into public spaces. But my creative spirit craved a new canvas. In 2022, I stepped into the world of fashion, launching my debut runway collection. Since then, I've immersed myself in the exhilarating realm of upcycled fashion, crafting bold, empowering pieces that celebrate individuality. This September, I'm thrilled to be showcasing my designs at New York Fashion Week, a dream come true. But my story is more than just about success. It's about overcoming challenges, finding strength in adversity, and turning limitations into limitless possibilities.
