TV Writer-publishes first Novel

After many years of writing for TV (Inspector Gadget cartoon series, TV Movies) I published my first novel to promote my 'Live-Action' TV Series before pitching it in early 2025. My career began networking on Los Angeles golf courses and being invited to join 'The Hollywood Hackers', comprised of many actors, directors, and producers who played every Tuesday. I enjoyed many fun rounds and lunches with director Dick Donner ('Lethal Weapon' - a fine golfer), actor John Ashton (Beverly Hills Cop) and Harvey Korman (Carol Burnett Show). That led to writing 'Gadget' scripts on an electric typewriter and the producers sending a taxi to pick up my Draft! No one could have predicted then that one day authors would be able to sell their books to readers in 15 countries visiting a 'store' accessible only on their computer! Many great memories, including crashing a party at Sammy Davis Jr.'s Beverly Hills home and being invited to shoot pool with him, and a producer-mentor-friend at Universal who told me how she saved the career of a struggling actor on the verge of quitting, who went on to become the highest-paid actor in the world.
