I'm Katie, the owner and founder of Kinda Loud Co. in Columbia, Missouri. I'm a branding and packaging designer who helps personality-filled businesses turn what they've built into strategic brands that actually attract the right customers. So many businesses pour everything into the quality of their work, and then the visuals just don't keep up. That's usually where I come in. Strategy is such a buzzword in branding. It means a million things to a million different people. To me, it just means "make that shit make sense." I act as your personal hype woman, but with a plan. I'll tell you what you need to hear, I won't yuck your yum, and I'll dig deep to really figure out how you should come across. My process starts with getting to know you, not a mood board. I ask a lot of questions and listen even harder before I ever start designing. Then everything gets sketched and built completely from scratch, no templates, no generative AI, just an actual human making sure it fits you and only you. Style-wise, I gravitate toward retro, warm, handcrafted stuff. The kind of design that feels tactile and lived in, not trendy for five minutes.
