Kayla Andersen is a writer and relatable speaker who uses Scripture, stories, and shared experiences to inspire and equip women to honestly engage with God. You'll be refreshed and empowered, feel more connected to God, and have the courage to walk through all seasons of life with joy. With a background in theology from Moody Bible Institute and over a decade of ministry experience, Kayla brings both heart and depth to every stage she steps onto. She speaks with clarity, compassion, and emotional intelligence, helping lifelong Christians connect head knowledge to heart transformation. Kayla grew up deeply involved in church life, but after years of overcommitment, spiritual exhaustion, and unprocessed trauma, she found herself disillusioned and burnt out. Her journey of rediscovering delight in God, and learning to hold space for pain, doubt, and longing in the presence of Christ, now shapes the healing, truth-filled messages she shares with others. Based in Chicago and available to travel nationally and internationally, Kayla speaks at retreats, conferences, and spiritual formation events across the U.S., encouraging others to walk with God in the middle of real life, not just on the mountaintops. Kayla’s heart is to help people reconnect with God in a way that feels sustainable and true—not performative. If you’re looking for a speaker who blends theological depth with emotional honesty and practical hope, she’d love to connect about your event.
