Valerie Silveira is an award-winning author, international speaker, founder, and storyteller who believes stories can accomplish more than lectures ever can. For years, Valerie wrote and spoke about courage, resilience, and what happens when life refuses to follow the map. Through that work—and her own experiences with profound personal loss—one belief kept surfacing: courage isn't something we're simply born with. It's something we choose, build, lose, rebuild, and choose again. Eventually, Valerie began asking a different question: What if girls could encounter those ideas much earlier—not through lessons, but through unforgettable adventures? That question became Lubadoos™, an original fantasy-adventure world where ordinary girls who doubt themselves, make mistakes, and get scared are called into extraordinary missions—and discover what they're capable of along the way. Lubadoos begins with the Lubadoos Adventures book series and companion journals, with a larger world growing around the stories. At the heart of it all is a simple idea: courage is a choice—and girls deserve stories that let them see themselves making it. Whether she's speaking on stage, joining a podcast, writing her next adventure, or dreaming up another corner of Lubadooland, Valerie brings humor, heart, and a storyteller's belief that the ideas we remember longest are often the ones we discovered inside a great story. Valerie lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with her husband, Rich, where she's learned that inspiration rarely keeps office hours.
