I'm a summa cum laude graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. I earned my BA degree in broadcast journalism and began working as a producer, writer and on-air host for Arizona PBS as I completed my degree. Building on my expertise in media, I founded SoCal Spotlight—a collection of lifestyle and resource platforms featuring topics on Southern California celebrities, entertainment, food and wellness. SoCal Spotlight is also the name of my adjacent video podcast that complements our online content–airing on my @socalspotlight YouTube Channel. The site also features a SoCal Arts & Entertainment Resources page. There I am growing a list of entertainment industry contacts to benefit A&E professionals and those seeking instruction and access within the industry. As the founder and publisher of The North County Moms, I connect parents and businesses in San Diego County through community outreach, ad sales, and brand promotion through my online and social media platforms. High-end restaurant management ignited my enthusiasm for food, quality ingredients and the social connection of gathering friends and loved ones to share a meal. I love dinner conversations and feel dialogues shared over a good meal is often fodder for interesting podcast interviews. Additionally, I have a passion for researching whole foods to uncover the value added to the body. Today, I find myself fascinated by the process of nourishing the body both physically and spiritually. My goal is to inspire optimal function, including employing facets of a fasting lifestyle to achieve my personal wellness objectives. A focus on nourishing meditative practices and spiritual philosophies for personal growth are important touchstones of my existence.
